What is a leader?

A leader is a person who directs a group of people. These leaders must be confident, persuasive, and are assertive. A leader can be spotted on a daily basis. For example, when we play the Human Knot, there is always that one person who takes charge. What makes us listen to this leader? I feel like they listen to the leader because that person actually knows what he/she is doing in the situation. A leader can not only direct but also listen to others. :3

I definitely agree with the statement. Leaders mark history and therefore become legends, it only makes sense to strive to be a leader rather than a follower. Forget conformity. Be your own leader. If you do not make your own choices then someone else will. Therefore, your life will be controlled by others.
